chicken tettrozini.

i am so excited to share this recipe with you! this is my go to dish. it's number one for potlucks, having people over for dinner or a comfort food meal for me and j.

**warning: this is not a healthy dish. but it is hearty and heart warming.**

ok now that that's taken care of, here are the details:

ingredients:
8 oz spaghetti
2-3 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
1 can mushrooms (stems/pieces), or 1 package fresh mushrooms, cut up
1 stick of butter (yep...)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
12 oz sour cream
grated parmesan cheese
garlic powder
salt and pepper
paprika

directions:
first, cook and shred the chicken breasts.
(my favorite way is to stick them in the crock pot and they basically shred themselves.
i season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder).

next boil the spaghetti noodles.
set aside.

melt the butter in a large skillet. add mushrooms and sauté. sprinkle with salt and pepper.

add the cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soup and stir well until blended. then stir in the shredded chicken and sour cream. (i usually just eye ball the sour cream until the sauce looks this color:)

combine the spaghetti and sauce and stir well until all noodles are coated. transfer to a greased 9 x 13 glass baking dish. top with grated parmesan cheese and sprinkle with paprika.
it should look like this before transferring to the oven:

bake at 325 for approx 45-50 minutes or unti sauce is bubbly and cheese is light brown.

enjoy!
